Give Me Some Music! (Orsino, Act I Shakespeare's Twelfth Night)

So last night I stayed up way too late looking for music to play before my future husband and I arrive at the wedding reception. I didn't want classical piano, or even worse Kenny G because that kind of music just puts people on edge. It makes everything sound formal and high class and uptight. My friends and family are anything but that. So I decided I wanted something that almost all good Southern people like, hymns and bluegrass. Funny enough, no one seems to publish instrumental bluegrass hymns and then put those exact words as search terms on Google. Finally I found some instrumental stuff entitled Smoky Mountain Hits, as seen here:
I'm using Ruckus (free music for college students) to download all my music for my reception, so I searched for this album. Much to my delight, there was another Smoky Mountain Hits CD and Three volumes of Smoky Mountain Hymns! Now I have a little over 2 hours of music for before we arrive at the reception and for when we're eating. I'm quite excited. This is one of the few things that has gone well with my planning.

This weekend is supposed to be a big planning weekend. I go to figure out some things about my flowers tomorrow. I'm hopefully going to get some more tulle for making my flower girl baskets since everything I've seen in stores look like satin covered buckets. And I'm hoping to price Hershey Kisses for wedding favors. I can buy 25 lbs. for $120, but who needs 2500 Kisses? My dad would never have to buy candy again, that's for sure. But I want to put pretty little stickers on the bottoms.

Oh, and my shoes at Target match the dress perfectly! We actually ordered a pair to make sure since the colors look a little off in the pictures. Now I won't have to make my bridesmaids buy $50 shoes from David's Bridal. They're only $18.31 taxes and all and if you order them all at the same time and your order is over $50 then the shipping is free! So if you need shoes to go with a David's Bridal Apple dress, then these are the shoes!

Things are finally starting to come together. I'm sure I'll have more to post after this weekend.

The title of this post made my day (especially since this day is technically only 2 1/4 hours along). If you find any more random songs for me to listen to, let me know. Good luck with your planning weekend; don't worry about the 2500 kisses as you'll...I guess I'll be a good girl and not complete that thought. That way you won't have to smack me and give me silly advice about my love life (or lack thereof);-).
